We’re looking for an Editorial & Information Designer to join Theory Studio in Barcelona. ?️

The role is focused on designing reports, publications and data-driven communications for major international institutions and organisations.

You’ll be working with complex content — from research and long-form reports to datasets, charts and diagrams — turning it into clear, rigorous and visually compelling communication.

The work sits at the intersection of editorial design, information design and data visualisation, with a strong emphasis on typography, structure, hierarchy and systems.

We’re looking for someone with:

3+ years of professional design experience, A strong portfolio in editorial and/or information design, Excellent typographic skills and a strong understanding of grids, hierarchy and layout, Experience designing charts, diagrams, tables, maps or other forms of data visualisation,



The ability to make complex information clear, accessible and visually engaging, A precise, systematic approach to design and a strong affinity with Swiss / modernist graphic design, Confidence working with long documents and maintaining consistency across complex publications, Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly InDesign and Illustrator, Fluent English — essential for the role.

Experience working with international institutions, research organisations, policy, science or other complex subject matter is a plus.
