? About Flyboard
We Make Voice AI Work. Flyboard builds and deploys custom AI agents, primarily for voice conversations, that automate workflows across sales, customer service, and operations.
Our platform combines proprietary deployment technology with hands-on implementation. We integrate agents into customer systems, bring them into production, and continuously improve how they perform. We use AI throughout this process, from building prototypes to testing conversations and identifying improvements.
Based in Barcelona, we work with mid-market and enterprise customers across Europe and LatAm.
? Mission
Own the journey from a qualified customer opportunity to an AI agent delivering measurable value in production.
You’ll understand the customer’s workflow, build the first prototype, shape the solution, and drive deployment with Engineering. Once the agent is live, you’ll remain responsible for its performance, adoption, and opportunities to expand.
Think of yourself as the General Manager of your agents: you set priorities, make decisions, bring in the right people, and follow through until the outcome is achieved. Working closely with the founders, you’ll combine customer leadership, business judgment, and practical execution.
? What You Will Do
- Lead Customer Discovery: Take over qualified opportunities from Sales, understand how the customer operates, and identify where an agent can create value. Define the use case, scope, and success criteria.
- Build and Demonstrate: Create initial agent prototypes, configure behaviours, and iterate prompts. Run demos that help customers understand the solution and build confidence to move forward.
- Drive Deployment: Turn customer needs into clear requirements. Coordinate integrations with Engineering, manage dependencies, and lead testing, pilots, and production launches.
- Own the Customer Relationship: Keep stakeholders aligned, manage expectations, challenge requests when needed, and resolve blockers. Communicate clearly with everyone from operators to executives.
- Improve Live Performance: Review conversations and results, identify failure patterns, and drive improvements.
Measure success through agent quality, adoption, and business outcomes.
- Grow Customer Value: Identify additional workflows where agents can help, build the case for expansion, and turn successful deployments into broader adoption.
- Shape the Platform: Translate recurring deployment challenges and customer feedback into actionable improvements for Product and Engineering.
? Adecuado Profile
This role suits someone who combines business judgment, customer confidence, and the ability to build and deliver. You enjoy understanding a messy operational problem, deciding what matters, and doing the work to make a solution succeed.
You might come from consulting, operations, product, customer success, solutions, or a startup. We care more about what you have owned and delivered than a specific title or career path.
What you need
- Evidence of ownership: You have taken a project or initiative from an unclear starting point to a concrete outcome. You can explain the decisions you made, the obstacles you addressed, and the results.
- Business and operational judgment: You ask useful questions, break down workflows, and distinguish what a customer requests from what will solve their problem.
- Customer leadership: You build trust, lead conversations, and explain complex topics simply. You are comfortable pushing back and guiding stakeholders towards a workable decision.
- Practical technical curiosity: You are willing to build prototypes, test agent behaviour, and investigate issues yourself. You can learn how systems and integrations work and collaborate effectively with engineers.
- Comfort with ambiguity: You can set priorities, move forward with incomplete information, and adapt as requirements change.
- Resourcefulness and follow-through: When something gets difficult, you explore alternatives, ask for support with clear context, and stay responsible for moving it forward.
- Applied interest in AI: You use AI tools to get work done and care about whether the output is reliable and useful in practice.
- Motivation for an early-stage environment: You want responsibility, close collaboration, and a fast learning curve. You understand that customer launches can involve intense periods requiring focus and adaptability.
You don’t need to be a software engineer or have deployed voice AI before. You do need to be comfortable working directly with customers and getting hands-on with the technology. Building prototypes, coordinating delivery, and improving live agents are all part of the job.
Nice to have
- Experience leading customer implementations, operational improvements, or projects involving both business and technical teams.
- Experience with prompting, AI agents, automation tools, APIs, CRM systems, or telephony.
- Experience measuring business outcomes and using data to improve a product or process.
- Experience identifying and developing new opportunities within existing customer accounts.
? What We Offer
- End-to-End Ownership: Responsibility for your agents, customer relationships, and results, with room to shape how deployments happen.
- Direct Business Impact: Your work helps customers improve their operations and directly contributes to Flyboard’s growth.
- Close Collaboration with the Founders: Work alongside the founding team on customer deployments and product decisions.
- Practical AI Experience: Build, launch, and improve agents used in real customer workflows.
- Compensation & Equity: Competitive salary and the opportunity to receive stock options.
- A Barcelona-Based Team: An on-site role with close collaboration across customer, product, and engineering work.
Interested? We’d love to hear about something you took ownership of, what you did to make it work, and why deploying AI with customers appeals to you.
