Position
Details
1. Position Details
- Location: Barcelona Airport, Spain
- Shift Schedule: Rotating shift pattern (6 days on / 4 days off), 8 h 40 minutes of shift
- Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
2. Role Purpose
As a Mechanic at Nayak, you will support Line Maintenance operations by ensuring that aircraft are maintained in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. Working alongside licensed engineers, you will contribute to maintaining high operational standards and ensuring fleet reliability.
3. Key Responsibilities
- Perform On-the-Job Training (OJT) under supervision and contribute to the safety and operational efficiency of the fleet.
- Conduct routine inspections on aircraft components, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks,
including repairs, replacements and adjustments to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft.
- Document all maintenance activities and maintain records in compliance with aviation regulations; report unsafe situations, incidents, or accidents, and certify proper execution of work.
- Prioritize and uphold safety protocols, contributing to a culture of safety within the maintenance team and the broader aviation community.
Requirements
- Valid EASA Part-66 Category A (Blank) License.
- Technical high school diploma, preferably in an aeronautical or related technical field.
- Strong manual dexterity, with a practical approach to solving technical problems.
- High attention to detail and a strong level of accuracy in task execution.
