Akronos Technologies Group a leading international company in innovation, R&D;, and high-tech engineering services, is looking for a qualified candidate for the following position:

- Sector: Automotive / Powertrain (Engine Development & Calibration)
- Experience Required: At least 2 years of recent hands-on experience in DPF calibration activities
Role Description
We are seeking a motivated Engine Calibration Engineer (DPF Specialist). The candidate will be responsible for executing engine calibration and development activities on Diesel engines, supporting the client’s organization across testing, analysis, and aftertreatment system management phases.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the engineering team, the candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparation and Setup: Preparing and checking engine measurement instrumentation; supporting and coordinating engine installation at the test bench.
- Test Planning & Execution: Defining and executing tests according to established testing methodologies, including occasional autonomous operational management of HIL, Hydraulic Rig, and PUMA Console hardware.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyzing experimental results, preparing detailed technical reports, and presenting outcomes during dedicated project meetings.
- Facility Coordination: Managing relationships and contacts with internal and external testing facilities throughout execution.
Required Technical Skills The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering,
or an equivalent discipline.
- Mandatory Requirement: At least 2 years of recent experience in DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) calibration activities, with a focus on:
- Soot accumulation and burning models.
- Regeneration strategies.
- Oil dilution analysis.
- Solid understanding of base Diesel engine mechanics, combustion processes, and exhaust aftertreatment systems.
- Proficiency in key calibration and analysis tools: INCA, Concerto, Indicating systems, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of modeling and analysis software (e.g., Matlab/Simulink).
- Languages: Good command of both English and Spanish (written and spoken), with the ability to prepare and deliver technical presentations.

- Autonomy: Capacity to independently manage complex equipment and test benches.
- Communication Skills: Ability to present technical findings clearly in international contexts and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Analytical Mindset: Meticulous attention to detail when processing data and developing system models.
Offer & Engagement Types
Two contractual arrangements are available:
- Full-Time Employment Contract: Gross Annual Salary (RAL) ranging from €24,000 to €28,000 (commensurate with vigente experience and technical assessment).
- Freelance / P.IVA Contract: Also allowed and negotiable during the selection process.
