Volunteer at the FutureTravel Summit, October 29
FutureTravel is a media and events brand covering travel innovation and technology, with a weekly newsletter read by over 26,000 industry professionals. Each year we bring the community together at our flagship event, and this October we're hosting 450+ founders, investors, operators, and startups from around the world at Antiga Fàbrica Estrella Damm in Barcelona.
We're looking for genuinely interested volunteers, to help us run the show across two days: setup on the 28th and the event itself on the 29th.
Tasks will include:
- Welcoming guests, checking them in, and handing out badges as they arrive
- Being a friendly face on the floor, guiding attendees around the venue and helping them find the right sessions
- Supporting speakers and helping things run smoothly on stage during keynotes and panels
- Helping with setup the day before and teardown once the event wraps, such as furniture and decor
- Keeping coffee, food, and networking areas stocked, tidy, and running throughout the day
- Being ready to jump in wherever needed, from lost and found to last-minute questions
What we're looking for:
No specific experience is required, just reliability and curiosity about the industry. You should be comfortable talking to people you've never met and able to stay on your feet in a fast-moving environment. Professional-level English is a must.
This is a great chance to get hands-on experience at a business innovation event, learn how an event comes together behind the scenes, and connect with founders, investors, and decision-makers from across travel, tourism and hospitality.
