Lazaro Rosa Violan Studio is seeking an intermediate or senior furniture and lighting designer to join its team in Madrid. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented designer who have a strong passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

100% on-site position in Madrid

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop curated furniture and lighting pieces.
- Tracking of the manufacturing process of FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) pieces, including corrections to shop drawings and prototype adjustments.
- Collaborate with in-house team, clients, and project teams to create exceptional results.
- Willing to work in multiple projects, ensuring organization and attention to detail.

Requirements:

- Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Highly organized with the ability to manage tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
- Strong knowledge of ergonomic rules, current design trends and materials in the hospitality industry.

- Graduate of industrial design degree.
- More than three years of proven experience in developing FF&E; for hospitality projects.
- Familiarity with five-star luxury and premium hotel design processes is highly favorable.
- Portfolio or hospitality work samples must be included with your application.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Proficiency in Rhinoceros, AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop is essential.
- Creative problem solver with a keen eye for design detail.
- Solid technical and construction knowledge, coupled with strong managerial skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, delivering exceptional results while supporting team cohesion.
- Collaborative team player.
- Strong spatial planning skills and experience in producing drawing packages.
- Passion for luxury and boutique design with a commitment to teamwork.
- Excellent presentation and graphic communication skills.
