Role Description The Department Store Salesperson is a full-time, on-site role based in Madrid. This role is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them to appropriate products and services. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining product displays, restocking shelves, processing sales transactions, and keeping the sales floor clean and orderly. The Salesperson answers product questions, provides recommendations, and resolves basic customer issues or concerns in a timely and respectful manner.



The role also involves collaborating with colleagues to meet sales targets, following store policies and procedures, and supporting promotional activities.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Sales skills to support individual and store performance goals.
- Candidates should possess solid Product Knowledge to provide accurate information and helpful recommendations to customers.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with diverse customers and colleagues.
- Previous experience in a department store or similar retail environment is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, manage multiple tasks, and work versátil hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system skills and comfort handling cash and card transactions.
- Fluency in Spanish and basic proficiency in English or other languages commonly spoken in Madrid is an advantage.
