Cash Management & Settlements Intern | Operations | Based in Barcelona

Every FX transaction Kantox processes has to settle correctly, on time, and without gaps. The Operations team is the function that makes that happen, and we are looking for a Cash Management & Settlements Intern to sit at the heart of it.

This is not a passive internship. You will manage real operational workflows from day one, supporting daily account reconciliations, payment processing, and data analysis, including preparing information used in negotiations with our liquidity providers, while actively contributing to the automation initiatives shaping the future of our department.
We are currently shifting from manual workflows to a Tech-First Ops model, and we need an intern who can do both: manage daily payments and help build the automation that scales the team.

What you will work on
Processing incoming and outgoing transactions and ensuring payments are released and processed without delays for our clients
Assisting with account reconciliations, payment investigations,



and collaborating closely with the Settlements team
Communicating with our banking partners to resolve trading, settlement, and other banking issues
Supporting Kantox collateral exposure and client margin call processing
Analysing datasets and preparing information to be presented to relevant stakeholders, including evaluating data for reporting and fees and tariffs negotiations
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Technology on automation initiatives and process improvements
Recognising manual tasks and helping turn them into automated, scalable workflows
Maintaining organised records and compiling data to assist with ad-hoc reporting requests

The setup
You will be based in our Barcelona office, working within the Operations team at the centre of daily FX trading and payment operations. You will interact regularly with Client Transaction Services, Cash Management and Settlements, Customer Success, Finance,
