In this senior engineering position, you will take a strongly hands-on part in shaping and delivering robust software solutions supporting electronic trading and pricing workflows. The role calls for solid technical depth, extensive practical command of modern .NET development, and the confidence to take on intricate platform components. What would you be doing?
- Architect, develop and maintain reliable .NET software components throughout every stage of the delivery lifecycle.
- Assume direct, hands-on ownership of technically demanding platform components, keeping them resilient, maintainable, scalable and properly documented.
- Exercise sound engineering judgement across architecture, design, implementation, testing and operational concerns.
- Collaborate closely with trading, product, architecture,
infrastructure and partner technology teams so that delivered solutions match business priorities.
- Help strengthen engineering standards, including test automation, observability, secure coding, CI/CD and sound release management.
What are we looking for?
- Expert command of C# and .NET/.NET Core, underpinned by a firm grasp of object-oriented design, SOLID principles and clean architecture.
- Substantial background designing, developing and supporting ASP.NET Core Web APIs and RESTful services running in production.
- Advanced knowledge of multi-threading, asynchronous programming, performance optimisation and distributed system design.
- Demonstrated experience across SQL and NoSQL databases, covering data modelling, performance factors and operational support.
