We are working with a venture capital investment platform focused on early-stage technology companies in Spain.The team is looking to add an Investment Associate / Principal who will work closely with the investment team across sourcing, evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities, as well as supporting portfolio companies.The RoleThe successful candidate will be involved across the investment lifecycle, including:Sourcing and evaluating early-stage investment opportunities within the Spanish ecosystemConducting market, company and competitive analysisDeveloping investment theses and supporting financial analysisPreparing investment committee materials and investment recommendationsSupporting due diligence and transaction executionMonitoring and supporting portfolio companies following investmentBuilding relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, investors and other ecosystem participantsContributing to the continued development of the platform and its network in SpainGiven the early-stage focus and relatively small investment tickets, the role offers broad exposure to the investment process, with a significant emphasis on sourcing, company assessment and relationships with founders.
