Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client's logistics challenges.The Pricing Analyst analyzes market prices and data, identifies cost requirements and anticipates overhead. Reports on findings and makes recommendations.Essential Job Functions:Analyze and prepare competitive pricing solutions for ocean, air, and land shipments according to customer requirementsRequest, negotiate, and evaluate rates with shipping lines, airlines, carriers, agents, and suppliers to ensure competitive and profitable quotationsPrepare and send quotations and rates within established deadlinesMaintain and update tariffs, pricing databases, and customer-specific commercial agreementsMonitor market trends, surcharges, and industry conditions that may affect logistics costsSupport the sales team with pricing strategies and business opportunitiesCommunicate with customers regarding quotations, transit times, routes, and service alternativesPrepare margin reports, profitability analysis, and cost trackingThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
