Business Development Manager – Nutraceutical Ingredients Location: Madrid (100% on-site), European scope, ~50% travel. About Us We are a European distribution group specialized in branded health ingredients for dietary supplements, functional foods, and health-focused consumer products. The role Your key role in supporting the growth of our nutraceutical activities across Europe. Your mission is to act as a strategic link between ingredient manufacturers and customers, helping translate scientific value into clear market positioning and long-term business opportunities. Education * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Life Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, Nutritionist / Dietitian, or a related field. Experience * Experience or strong interest in nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, functional foods, or health ingredients. * 1–2 years of professional experience is desirable, ideally in ingredient distribution, product management, technical roles, or business development. * Experience in value-driven, science-based roles with exposure to manufacturers and customers is a plus. Languages * Spanish: C1 and/or native. * English: C1 (mandatory). * French: Advanced level (desirable).



Profile & Skills * Strong scientific background with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly. * Comfortable speaking in public and presenting in English. * Strategic mindset and long-term business orientation. * Curious, proactive, and relationship-driven. * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Comfortable working independently in a growing, entrepreneurial environment. Location & travel * Approximately 50% travel, including customer visits, supplier meetings, and industry events across Europe. * 100% on-site position, based at our Madrid offices. * Group-level role with European scope.
