JJoin our Design team in Barcelona! ?

We are growing and just moved to a new office in Passeig de Gràcia.

We are looking for a SENIOR Designer (+10 years experience in circular knit), based in Barcelona downtown and with proven commercial skills to join our team!

(Please do not apply if you are a junior role or live in the outskirts of Barcelona).

You will be responsible for the design of new collections and propose new styles to the brands we work with,

keeping a close contact with the brand Design Department and leading the vistis and presentations.

Your role is the key link between design vision and product execution.

An excellent designer for us must be analytical, detail oriented, with good communication and sales skills. The idóneo candidate is very experienced in Knitwear and Woven, working both with big Fashion groups such as Inditex and also more boutique emerging brands.

The aim is to ensure the high quality of our operations and services, in order to achieve the long-term success of our business.

Requirements

· 10+years experience working with Inditex and other international Fashion groups and brands both Womenswear

& Menswear

· High level of creativity and energy, combined with product sensibility and commercial awareness

· Proficient

English and Spanish level (Able to conduct conversations both orally and written). Italian is a plus.

· AI

(Artificial Intelligence) advanced tools knowledge is a must (Claude, Gemini…)

· Adobe

Photoshop and Illustrator specialist, proficient level

· Proven track of tech-paks creation, prepare technical documentation and support fittings when required

· Proactive attitude

· Proven record of contacts within the Fashion industry

· Strong fabrics sensibility. Poven knowledge of both Knitwear and Woven fabrics, raw materials, trims, finishings and washing techniques.





· AI advanced knowledge (Claude, Gemini…)

· Adobe

Photoshop and Illustrator specialist, proficient level

· Proven track of tech-paks creation, prepare technical documentation and support fittings when required

· Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and standards, sampling rounds and fit-comments

Responsibilities

· Product

Design and Development

· Monitoring of fabrics received for sample books and production and selection for the manufacture of garments.

· Build and keep connection between the client and the production team

· Creation and development of designs, attending trade fairs and shopping trips

· Preparation of collections and fabric tests for making up the various collections, whether woven or knitted.

· Preparation and assembly of sample books and colour charts

· Maintaining accurate and verifiable fabric stocks

· Drawing up regular weekly and monthly reports

· Researching trends, colours, fabrics and trimmings for the development of the collection.

· Drawing up technical data sheets for production of the samples and developments

· Trips to the production area (Turkey/Morocco…).

· Weekly research of trends and shopping for the collections

· Evaluating customers' requirements and making sure they are met

· Corrections and approvals during the prototype and final product development phases.
