As an Automation Engineer, you will drive industrial projects through their entire lifecycle from initial feasibility studies and design to specs writing, on-site supervision, commissioning, and system qualification.

Key Qualifications & Attributes:

- PLC & HMI Programming: Design, code, and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems according to technical specifications.
- Factory Acceptance (FAT): Perform pre-deployment testing and simulation to validate control logic and eliminate bugs.
- On-Site Commissioning (SAT): Conduct I/O checks, loop tuning, and functional testing to ensure smooth equipment startup.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve software issues during commissioning to optimize process performance.
- Handover & Training: Prepare technical documentation (as-built) and train plant operators and maintenance staff.

Profile

- Master’s degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Solid background in control systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA) along with standard IT tools.
- Professional fluency in French and English (both written and spoken). Knowledge of any additional language is an asset.
