We are looking for a Business Controller (Commercial & Financial Controlling) with a strong business-oriented mindset and the ability to act as a strategic partner across both the commercial and financial areas of the organization. The selected candidate will play a key role in monitoring business performance, analyzing sales, margins, profitability, costs, inventory, and financial results, transforming data into actionable insights that support decision-making and drive sustainable growth.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will work closely with the General Management team and collaborate cross-functionally with the Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, Customer Service, and Finance departments, acting as the link between commercial performance analysis and financial controlling. Through a critical and analytical approach, the role will contribute directly to improving business performance, profitability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a strategic Business Partner to Management and the different business functions, providing analytical support for decision-making.
- Analyze business performance, including sales, margins, pricing, costs, inventory, and profitability, identifying variances, improvement opportunities, and corrective actions.
- Monitor and evaluate commercial performance, customer profitability, product profitability, and pricing strategies.
- Develop, monitor, and track the company's key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis processes.
- Prepare monthly corporate reporting for the international parent company.
- Conduct inventory analysis and control, supporting the Logistics team and ensuring data quality for reporting purposes.




- Evaluate pricing policies, cost structures, and profitability levels from both a commercial and financial perspective.
- Drive continuous improvement through the design and implementation of new processes, tools, dashboards, and analytical models.
- Work closely with different departments to transform data into recommendations that generate business impact and value.

Regular Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:15 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Friday: 7:15 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.

Summer Schedule (16 June – 15 September)

Monday to Thursday: 7:15 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Friday: 7:15 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.

Requirements

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.




- A Master's degree in Finance, Management Control, Business Analytics, or a related discipline will be considered an asset.

Experience

- 2 -3 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A;, Financial Analysis, Business Analysis, or similar roles.
- Experience working in international environments and reporting to multinational groups or headquarters.
- Experience within the industrial sector will be considered a plus.

Technical Skills

- Advanced Excel skills (mandatory).
- Ability to use Power BI as a data source for reporting and analysis(mandatory). Dashboard development is not required.
- Experience working with financial ERP systems.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proven experience developing KPIs, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Languages

- English level B2 or higher (mandatory).
- Ability to prepare, present, and defend reporting in an international environment.
