OVERVIEW:
Leading integral operator specialised in the complete management of renewable energy assets is looking for a Tax Analyst.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of the Corporate Finance team and reporting to the Head of Tax of the Group, this position will be accountable for the following tasks:
- Support the review of the Group's Corporate Income Tax compliance and tax reporting obligations across all jurisdictions.
- Review and support the Spanish tax compliance.
- Assist in the preparation, review and monitoring of Transfer pricing documentation.
- Monitor intercompany transactions to ensure compliance with the Group's Transfer pricing policy and support to other FRV Group jurisdictions on transfer pricing matters.
- Support tax audits by gathering documentation, coordinating with external advisors and monitoring action items.
- Assist in international tax matters, including:
- Coordination with external advisors (Big 4) in direct and indirect tax compliance.
- Preparation of tax analyses related to new investments, restructurings and profit repatriation.
- Support tax due diligences processes for M&A; transactions and internal restructurings.
- Prepare tax technical research on domestic and international tax matters.
- Maintain and monitor the Group's tax calendars, tax trackers and compliance deadlines.
- Assist in the implementation of tax planning projects and other strategic tax initiatives led by the Head of Tax.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERTISE:
- Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Business Administration or Economics.
- Master's degree in taxation or international taxation is highly valued.
- 3-4 years of experience on corporate and/or international taxation, preferably on multinational companies or international consulting firms.
- Fluent spoken and written English is essential.
