This freelance opportunity is ideal for locals who enjoy storytelling, cultural exchange, and creating authentic experiences. No professional tour guide license is required.
Responsibilities:
- Lead private walking tours showcasing Palma de Mallorca’s neighborhoods, landmarks, culture, and history
- Share engaging stories, local tips, and hidden gems
- Customize tours to guests’ interests, pace, and preferences
- Create welcoming, informative, and memorable experiences
- Optionally host food-focused or themed tours for culinary enthusiasts
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Palma de Mallorca’s neighborhoods, culture, and main landmarks
- Fluency in at least one of the following languages:
Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, or Chinese
- Friendly, confident, and engaging communication style
- Comfortable leading tours lasting 3 to 8 hours
Nice to Have:
- Passion for local food and culinary experiences
- Previous guiding, hosting, or hospitality experience (a plus, not required)
