The Product Manager owns the strategy, roadmap, and commercial performance of the soldering and sintering materials product range within the electronic assembly portfolio. This role combines market and competitive analysis, new product introduction, lifecycle management, and pricing/profitability ownership. The Product Manager acts as the central point of expertise on the product range, bridging R&D;, sales, and customers to ensure the portfolio remains technically competitive, commercially profitable, and aligned with market needs.
Key Responsibilities Define and maintain the long-term and short-term product roadmap for the soldering and sintering materials range.
Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies relevant to electronic assembly materials.
NPI / NPD (New Product Introduction / Development) Define product specifications and requirements based on customer and market input.
Drive the stage-gate review and commercialization process from concept to launch.
Coordinate cross-functionally with R&D;, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure on-time,



on-spec product launches.
Manage the product discontinuation strategy, including phase-out planning and customer communication.
Support commercial teams with pricing guidance, deal support, and profitability trade-off analysis
Technical / Industry Knowledge Solid understanding of electronic assembly processes, particularly soldering and/or sintering materials and technologies.
Ability to engage credibly with R&D; and technical customers on material performance and application.
Product & Market Management Proven experience in product management, product marketing, or a similar strategic commercial role, ideally in specialty chemicals or electronics materials.
Strong analytical skills for market sizing, competitive analysis, and pricing/margin analysis.
Experience running or contributing to a stage-gate / NPD process.
