Responsabilities:
Develop synthetic plans and design and run experiments to test the suitability of chemical processes for large-scale use.

Evaluate and propose different synthetic alternatives considering chemical complexity, profitability, intellectual property and EHS aspects.

Use the appropriate and available analytical methods and tools to monitor reaction processes and product quality output.

Maintain familiarity with Regulatory Guidelines and requirements including cGMP.

Report, communicate and discuss the progress of the projects with all involved stakeholders (internal and external).

Requirements:
High level of English is a must

Capable of working well under pressure and within a team environment

Good analytical approach to problem solving

Good communication and IT skills

Commercially aware

Ability to effectively perform literature searches using available tools such as SciFinder.

Desired Experience:
Proven technical experience in the fine chemicals/pharmaceutical industry.

Experience in chemical synthesis and process development.

Experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, NMR

Experience using Design of Experiment (DOE) principles.
