As a Data Engineer at Talan, you will design and build scalable data pipelines and platforms in Azure and Databricks to enable analytics and data-driven decisions. You will work with large datasets, apply modern data architectures, and contribute to data modelling and governance. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust, scalable solutions that support business intelligence and transformation initiatives. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge cloud data technologies in a global consulting environment.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
• Develop efficient data processing and transformation solutions with Python and Databricks
• Handle large, complex datasets with a focus on data quality and performance
• Contribute to modern data architectures within the Azure ecosystem
• Apply Medallion Architecture principles to build robust data solutions
• Support Data Vault and Business Vault architectures on Databricks on Azure




• Work with Microsoft Fabric and OneLake, leveraging shortcuts to access data across platforms
• Contribute to data modelling in Azure Data Warehouse and related analytics environments
• Collaborate with Data Architects, Developers, Analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Identify opportunities to improve processing, architecture, performance and automation
• Ensure solutions follow best practices for scalability, security, maintainability and data governance
Responsabilidades
• Experience creating data pipelines using Python on Databricks
• Experience xqbhyrx with curated and product layers of data engineering including Data Vault 2.0, Kimball (dimensional) and 3NF
• Understanding of schema evolution, slowly changing dimensions, and data harmonisation
• Practical experience using Declarative Automation Bundles (DABs) for deployment
• Experience with git repositories and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub and ADO preferred)
• Experience developing pipelines in an IDE environment (VSCode preferred)
