In this Founding Engineer role, you’ll help build a new AI-driven startup inside Factorial, from day zero. You’ll own major initiatives, shape the technical roadmap, and ship practical AI features in a cloud-native environment. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to turn incomplete information into reliable, usable products. This is a fast-paced, founder-style role with real runway and a strong emphasis on delivery, impact, and learning by doing.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Own and drive big initiatives with quarterly roadmaps and clear technical needs
• Engage in customer conversations to understand pains and requirements
• Review code daily and provide feedback across the team, including juniors
• Mentor teammates and share knowledge to improve engineering quality
• Collaborate on architecture, performance, and domain-specific challenges
• Integrate AI models into scalable, cloud-native systems and evaluate non-deterministic outputs

Responsabilidades
• 4+ years in software engineering with track record or strong curiosity in shipping AI features
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails (backend) and React or TypeScript (frontend)
• Experience integrating AI models into production and operating in probabilistic, non-deterministic contexts
• Ability to explain complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders xqbhyrx
• Comfort reviewing agentic workflows and discussing LLM architecture tradeoffs
• Capability to own the full loop: build, deploy, measure, and iterate on AI features
• Experience working in cloud-native environments and coordinating with cross-functional teams
