In this role you will drive medical leadership for hematology-oncology programs, partnering with cross-functional teams to shape early and late-phase strategies and ensure scientific and regulatory rigor. You will monitor safety, influence trial design, and contribute to regulatory submissions while mentoring more junior staff. The position sits within a collaborative, science-driven environment focused on delivering life-changing medicines. You will engage with external experts and internal stakeholders to advance programs that address unmet patient needs.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Provide clinical input to design and execution of hematology-oncology trials and ensure timely delivery of study results
• Lead medical monitoring and safety oversight across Phase I–III studies
• Develop and defend clinical development plans and protocols for governance approval
• Collaborate with external investigators, KEE, and internal stakeholders to align on practice, regulatory, and reimbursement requirements
• Mentor less experienced team members and potentially manage physicians or scientists
• Contribute to regulatory submissions and dossier preparation (INDs, BLAs,
safety reports)
• Oversee cross-functional input into protocols in collaboration with GCH/GCPL and marketing/commercial
• Ensure adherence to GCP, regulatory requirements, and AZ SOPs; uphold high ethical standards
• Lead or contribute to due diligence for in-licensing opportunities and strategic opportunities
• Prepare and present scientific data to governance forums and leadership committees
Responsabilidades
• MD or international equivalent
• Medical hematology-oncology clinical training
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
• Board Certification preferred
• Experience xqbhyrx in clinical research related to oncology or malignant hematology
• Knowledge of GCP and regulatory requirements; familiarity with regulatory approval processes in relevant regions
• Ability to design and oversee complex development plans and analysis
• Strong communication and presentation skills
