Data Scientist – Job DescriptionSCRM – LIDL Digital HubAbout the roleAs a Data Scientist, you will collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to: Gather requirements and translate them into actionable data science projects. Develop and deploy production-ready data-driven solutions alongside the team.
5+ years of professional experience in Data Science or a closely related field.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
Experience developing machine learning solutions beyond experimentation, including their application to real-world problems.
Translate business needs into actionable data science solutions.
Explore and apply state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning approaches.
Communicate results clearly and identify new opportunities to create business impact through data.
Technical Skills: Programming Languages (Required): Python and SQL.Advanced Python Proficiency (Required): Numpy, Pandas, Scipy, Scikit-learn,



deep learning frameworks(preferably PyTorch or TensorFlow), and visualization libraries.
Advanced Python Proficiency (Preferred): CPU and memory profiling, multiprocessing, Joblib, Numba, etc. Systems Knowledge (Required): Git, SQL, NoSQL, and Spark (PySpark).Cloud platforms (preferably GCP), distributed systems, and ETL processes.
