Based in Spain, with visits to our Alicante office, the Spain HR Manager will ensure alignment with business goals and foster a positive, high-performance culture across the department. They will oversee and ensure delivery of recruitment needs, accurate and compliant payroll, employment tax & social security requirements, labour relations and employment legislation- while also delivering initiatives as outlined by wider group people strategy.

Manage, coach and develop the Spanish HR team, driving high standards of service delivery and excellence.
Ownership of the monthly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll submissions, reconciliations, approvals and statutory reporting.
Manage relationships with payroll providers and internal stakeholders to resolve payroll queries and ensure compliance with Spanish tax, social security and regulatory requirements.
Provide advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and organisational change cases.
Lead labour relations activity, support collective bargaining implementation and manage employment tribunal matters in partnership with external legal advisers.




Maintain accurate HR records, statutory notifications and reporting requirements, including year-end reporting, social security obligations and audit readiness.
Drive diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, including the delivery of the Equality Plan and compliance with anti-harassment and local reporting obligations.
Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture that reflects company values and supports employee engagement and development.

Qualification in Human Resources or have at least 2+ years’ experience in a similar role/remit.
Prior HR leadership experience – retail environment is a plus.
Payroll and recruitment experience is essential.
Professional command of spoken and written English is essential (Minimum of B2), fluent in Spanish.
The adecuado candidate will possess strong knowledge of Spanish employment law and payroll practices.
Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
Highly developed planning and organisation skills.
