In this backend-focused role, you will help scale Deel’s global payroll and HR platform by building robust features, APIs, and services with a strong emphasis on performance and security. You’ll collaborate with frontend, product, design, and QA to deliver customer-centric software in a remote-first, fast-paced environment. Responsabilidades




• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Backend development expertise with Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript; knowledge of at least one other server-side language
• PostgreSQL proficiency including query optimization, migrations, and data modeling
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Experience designing scalable systems and handling high transaction volumes
• API development experience including security aspects like JWT and scalability considerations
• Remote collaboration experience in distributed teams
• Business-focused approach to delivering high-value software
• Excellent communication of complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Genuine care for customers and a proactive, optimistic problem-solver attitude
