Responsibilities

- Design, develop and test the code that shapes the components of the application, ensuring functionality, quality and performance.
- Deliver in Production a working software by applying best development practices, including documentation and parameters to reach goals. Support Production by analyzing and fixing bugs. Contribute to improving technical discipline by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- As an expert in the Backend area, contribute value on the technical layer while considering the rest of the stack as part of the Squad responsibilities.
- Major Responsibility Areas: Coding; Stories Refinement; Environments management; Release; Monitoring.

Essential

- Good coding skills on the Middleware layer: Java 8/11/17
- Spring (Boot, MVC, CORE, Security, Dependency Injection)
- Microservices: Hexagonal architecture; Patterns (Circuit Breaker, Api Gateway, Service Discovery); Feature Flags
- Design Patterns, SOLID, Clean Code, Software Craftsmanship
- Back End & DevOps awareness (understand the global architecture / infrastructure)
- Testing: Unit, integration and smoke testing; JUnit; Contract Testing; Framework mocks (Mockito, MockMvc, WireMock,



PowerMock)
- Maven
- Containers and orchestration: Docker, OpenShift or Kubernetes
- Ansible
- Git
- DDD
- CI/CD pipelines
- DevOps skills
- Azure (Pipelines)
- 5 years of experience on a similar tech stack
- Agile experience with SCRUM, Kanban or XP
- Excellent spoken and written English

- Retail banking knowledge
