Senior Integration Engineer (Platform Engineering) Location: Netherlands | Hybrid Technology Focus: GraphQL, Kafka, Azure, Event Streaming TEKsystems Global Services is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to join a Platform Engineering team responsible for building and scaling enterprise integration capabilities. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the development of a strategic GraphQL platform while building reusable integration services that enable engineering teams across the organization. The role combines hands‑on engineering, architecture, and developer enablement, with a strong focus on driving adoption of platform capabilities rather than delivering traditional point‑to‑point integrations.

What You'll Do

- Design, build, and evolve enterprise integration and API platform capabilities.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of GraphQL solutions at scale.
- Develop event-driven architectures using Kafka and modern streaming technologies.
- Build GraphQL and REST APIs consumed across multiple engineering domains.
- Define integration standards, governance, and best practices.
- Create reusable platform services that improve developer productivity.
- Support and mentor engineering teams adopting integration capabilities.
- Drive platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence within Azure.

Required Skills

- GraphQL (Essential) Strong experience designing and implementing GraphQL solutions in enterprise environments.




- Expertise in schema design, federation, governance, and API architecture.
- Experience driving GraphQL adoption across multiple engineering teams.

Adecuado Background

- ~5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Integration Engineering, or Backend Engineering.
- ~ Experience building enterprise API and integration platforms.
- ~ Deep understanding of Kafka and streaming technologies.
- ~ Strong Azure platform expertise.
- ~ Experience establishing engineering standards and driving technology adoption.
- ~ Proven ability to build developer-facing platform capabilities at scale.
