POSITION:Business Development Manager – Barcelona, SpainSECTORS :HVAC, refrigeration, air conditioning ,electrical, plumbingSALARY : €40,000, bonus & company carLOCATION:Barcelona areaOur client is the integral leader for mini pumps with the most reliable, installer friendly and innovative products on the market.
As the business has grown so has its operational footprint with its UK Head Office and manufacturing site, they are also based in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, India, and USA.As a result of continued growth, they are looking to recruit a new position of Business Development Manager to be responsible for increasing sales & market share with several key accounts with the preferred base in and around Barcelona.Their route to market is through a wholesaler network.Key Responsibilities will include: -Working with the Regional Manager to ensure close management of key wholesalers/distributors
Identify and agree new wholesalers to target for the region




Optimise the breadth of our client's range & increase market share with existing accounts through merchandising and training (at branch level) & ensuring their brand is high profile
Participate in Exhibitions, Trade Fairs, Wholesaler/Distributor branch events & sales meetings as required
Monitor stock levels & competitor products and activities
Perform regular training at wholesaler/distributor branches & to installersCandidates' profile, background and experience: -Fluent in English is essential
Proven track record of working within a wholesaler/distributor network
Experience in either HVACR, construction, air conditioning, building materials sector
Independent worker who is confident in using their own initiative
Strong commercial insight
Proven track record of sales to a wholesaler/distributor network
