About the Role

Our client is seeking physically fit and reliable Aviation Ground Handlers to support aircraft operations at Queenstown Airport . This role is essential for the safe and efficient turnaround of aircraft. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including baggage handling, marshalling aircraft, assisting with cargo loading and unloading, and ensuring the overall safety of the ramp area. This is a hands-on position that requires teamwork, adherence to strict safety procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, outdoor environment. The ideal candidate is punctual, energetic, and committed to providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

- Marshall aircraft into and out of parking bays safely.
- Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft.
- Service aircraft with necessary equipment (e.g., water, power units).
- Clean aircraft interiors and exteriors as required.
- Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the ramp and ground equipment.




- Operate ground support equipment (GSE) such as tugs, loaders, and belt conveyors.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work adaptable hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures meticulously.
- Aviation-specific training or experience is advantageous but not essential.
