The Payroll Manager EMEA will oversee payroll operations for the EMEA region within the industrial and manufacturing sector. Based in Oviedo, this role ensures accurate and compliant payroll processes.

* Ensure accurate, timely and compliant payroll delivery across the EMEA region.
* Support the regional payroll transformation programme, including process standardisation, system enhancements and the implementation of new operating models.
* Provide expert guidance on payroll processes, compliance requirements and country-specific regulations across the region.
* Oversee outsourced payroll service delivery, including vendor governance, service reviews, SLA/KPI monitoring and performance management.
* Manage escalations with payroll providers, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance accuracy, compliance and employee experience.
* Support payroll outsourcing transitions, new implementations and country migrations, ensuring operational readiness and effective knowledge transfer.
* Contribute to vendor and contract management activities, driving continuous improvement and ensuring service providers meet agreed performance standards.
* Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, Controlling, Global Payroll teams and external providers to optimise end-to-end payroll processes.
* Act as the regional point of contact for payroll audits, controls,
issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
Perfil ideal
*Extensive experience in payroll operations and payroll leadership, ideally within a regional, international, shared services or outsourced payroll environment.
* Strong knowledge of payroll processes, governance and compliance requirements across multiple countries.
* EMEA experience would be an advantage.
Bilingual English is required; knowledge of a second language would be considered a strong asset.
* Experience with payroll systems and payroll transformation projects. Knowledge of SAP HCM or Workday would be advantageous.
* Proven experience managing external payroll providers, including SLA/KPI management, service reviews, escalation management and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Experience in payroll outsourcing transitions, provider implementations and regional or general payroll migrations is highly desirable.
* A transformation mindset, with the ability to work in a project-driven environment, challenge existing processes and implement new ways of working.
* Strong stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the adaptability to operate effectively in a multicultural environment.
Oferta de empleo
- Annual salary between 74.000 € and 80.000 € plus benefits.
- The final offer will depend on the real experience demonstrated through the process.
- Permanent contract.
