Commissioning Engineer for MV SwitchboardsThe Regional Service Representative for Medium Voltage provides professional on-site services for Schneider Electric medium-voltage power distribution solutions, including commissioning, technical diagnostics, and resolution of customer issues. The role primarily supports complex and critical projects, delivering advanced troubleshooting and on-site expertise for medium-voltage switchgear such as MCset, PIX, GHA, SM-RM-GM AirSeT, and Premset.Main responsibilitiesPerform Startup & Commissioning on all equipment across the entire medium voltage product rangesEvaluate units and system's installation & operational conditionsAbility to perform onsite adjustments to bring the units to the best running conditionsBe able to identify if the failure is related to a quality issue/ software issue / operation condition issue (Root cause Analysis)Work with another Schneider Electric service engineers or partners during site interventionsDocument test results and produce site work reportsTrain Schneider Electric customers on basic operations of the equipmentAbility to perform preventive & corrective maintenance for MV productsRequirementsThorough understanding of electrical principles particularly for medium voltage, fundamentals knowledge of automation and protection relaysMust be able to perform duties with general direction, receiving only general guidance with respect to overall objectives. Must comply with all safety policies, practices and proceduresAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures, professional documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variablesHandle multiple tasks simultaneouslyWillingness to travel internationally for 70% of the working time (and more)Education and Experience:Electrotechnical education (University degree in an advantage)At least 5 years’ experience with commissioning and/or field service activitiesConfirmed experience with MV power distribution products (Schneider Electric or other brands)Knowledge of Protection Relays is a strong advantageCapability to work alone, analyze technical challenges and propose resolutionsHave excellent mechanical and electrical hands-on skills Fluent communication in English language (B2+ level min)Flexibility & Reliability, Focus on technical details & Customer focus, Team playerGood Software tools literacy: MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD, Power system Cx softwareInformation about the selection process:If you are interested in this position,
