As a Senior Software Developer, you'll own the technical design and implementation of custom components, setup, and configuration of off-the-shelf components and contribute to making the solution end-to-end successful as part of a dedicated team. About the team

The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for engineering and operations, corporate security, governance, operational resilience, risk and compliance. We define and advance the company's security strategy. As a part of the Security Team, the main aim of Cyber Defence Solutions team is to develop, improve, and maintain innovative platforms such as Threat Intelligence, SOAR and its automations and playbooks.



We're looking for a highly experienced software developer with interest in cyber defence with a strong background in engineering and technical leadership skills.

In your role, you will…

Be someone who believes in continuous innovation, is curious and relentless in finding a better way every day

Design and build new cybersecurity orchestration automation via API integrations

Lead software projects on agentic transformation while remaining hands-on in design and implementation

Maintain and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of the existing automations within the cybersecurity orchestration platform

Collaborate with threat detection security engineers to develop and implement custom solutions for detecting and responding to emerging cyber threats
