Embat is one of the fastest-growing startups in Europe, founded in 2021 to revolutionize how medium and large-sized enterprises manage their finances and cash flow in real time. We are a diverse team of 80+ members, backed by leading international investors, aiming to go integral and make Embat a fantastic place to work. As a Backend Engineer , you will work together with our development team, product managers, and designers. We pride ourselves on working in an evolving and agile environment, with day-to-day interaction with every member of the team. Our Frontend is built with ReactJS. We use Figma to build our proprietary Design System and UI Kit. Our Backend runs on NodeJS and our platform on Google Cloud, it keeps us moving fast and scale up, but with strong resiliency.
Work with an experienced development team and product managers to ideate, brainstorm and build impressive financial features. Design, develop and maintain our APIs and web applications for maximum robustness, scalability and security.
Test all new features and enhancements to ensure responsiveness and efficiency. Help us protect our users' data, confidentiality and integrity by creating security and data protection settings.
Help build CI/CD, monitoring and testing practices together with the rest of the team.
Experience scaling distributed systems with large data volumes
Strong knowledge of software architecture design patterns and coding best practices.
Advocate a quality culture across the whole Embat organization.
You are comfortable with testing environments and make sure every detail is brushed before going to production. You are passionate about high quality.
