Your role
As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for the correct preparation, cooking and presentation of products prepared on the grill, ensuring the quality, flavour, texture, temperature and presentation standards established by the company.
You will be responsible for keeping your section organised and fully prepared for service, working closely with the rest of the kitchen team and ensuring an efficient service, even during peak periods.
What you will do:
• Prepare and cook meats, fish, vegetables, and other products intended for the grill according to established recipes and standards
• Control the cooking points, temperatures, and timings of each product




• Prepare and maintain the necessary mise en place to ensure the smooth operation of the section during service
• Light, prepare, operate, and maintain the grill and related equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure the correct presentation and plating of all preparations
• Monitor the quality, freshness, and condition of products before and during service
• Properly handle, store, label, preserve, and rotate raw materials
• Keep the section, equipment, and utensils clean, organised, and in optimal condition throughout the shift
• Work closely with the other kitchen sections to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of dishes
• Meet established service times while maintaining quality standards during high-volume periods
• Apply and comply with all hygiene, food safety, and HACCP procedures established by the company
• Control and minimise waste through proper planning, handling, and utilisation of products
• Use kitchen equipment, tools, and machinery correctly
