From Oxigent Technologies, we are looking for a Senior System Engineer to join a high-impact modernization project with a major global aviation tech leader, located in Barcelona (Poblenou).
In this position, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying the software platforms that will transform how Datalink services are monitored, configured, and operated across integral infrastructure.
We are looking for an engineer who combines strong software architecture and development expertise with the ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams. System Engineering:
Drive the architecture, definition and design of next-generation Datalink Monitoring, Observability, Provisioning, and Configuration Management platforms.
Enforce engineering quality through modern system definition, design practices, observability, and secure-by-design principles.




Participate in technical reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, scalable, and supportable solutions.
Contribute to the modernization of legacy monitoring and configuration management assets while supporting operational continuity.
Support the definition and design of next-generation Datalink Monitoring and Configuration Platforms, including modern telemetry, alerting, visualization, and operational capabilities.
Utilize personal expertise and state-of-the-art AI tools to improve productivity and quality of deliverables.
Work closely with software engineers, architects, product managers, and operations teams.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience as a Senior System Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, or equivalent technical role in complex software or platform environments.
