Summary
You will serve as a Shipbuilding Specialist in the Waterfront Operations of FWD DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET ROTA.
Duties
- You will perform long range planning, estimating and accomplishing technical analysis of customer and contractor proposals as well as quick response waterfront support.
- You will determine and designate Contractor Furnished Material (CFM) and Government Furnished Material (GFM) required to accomplish the availability
- You will serve as liaison between the contractor and technical authority and as technical advisor during scoping conferences between the government and the contractor
- You will review contract specifications, drawings, technical manuals, and design test requirements to determine and evaluate contractor compliance, progress and work quality.
- You will plan and coordinate on-site reviews for the evaluation of personnel protection/prevention and safety programs for compliance with appropriate procedures, contracts and specifications.
- You will develop Requests for Contract Changes (RCC) in response to contractor furnished reports,
authorized liaison action reports and technical requirements.
