HotelCheck – Health & Safety Audits is looking for an experienced Freelance Health & Safety Auditor based in Croatia to carry out on-site Health & Safety audits of holiday villas across Croatia.
This is a freelance, project-based collaboration. The selected auditor must be self-employed / registered as a freelancer and legally able to invoice for the services provided.
The role requires travelling to assigned villas, carrying out structured Health & Safety inspections, collecting photographic evidence and completing digital audit reports.
Key Responsibilities
Visit assigned holiday villas across Croatia
Carry out on-site Health & Safety audits following HotelCheck procedures and checklists
Review the main safety aspects of each property
Collect photographic evidence during each inspection
Complete digital audit reports after every visit
Identify and report relevant Health & Safety issues
Organise and manage assigned visits efficiently
Communicate professionally with property owners or managers when required
Requirements
Fluent Croatian – mandatory
Good level of English




Must be self-employed / registered as a freelancer and able to invoice for services
Previous experience in Health & Safety auditing, property inspections, hospitality, tourism or a related field
Based in Croatia
Driving licence and own vehicle
Availability to travel to villas within assigned areas
Strong organisational and communication skills
Reliable, professional and able to work independently
Good attention to detail
Comfortable using digital tools and completing reports online
