? What we look for?
We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL development, data modeling, and stakeholder collaboration to join a strategic project within the banking sector.

Required to go to the client's offices in central Madrid 3 days a week.

High english level is required.

⚙ Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize complex SQL transformations supporting analytics, reporting, and financial/regulatory requirements.
Work with and enhance enterprise data models, including Data Vault, dimensional models, SCD, and 3NF structures.
Ensure SQL code is performant, maintainable,



and aligned with data architecture standards.
Implement data quality controls, testing frameworks, and validation rules.
Maintain documentation, data lineage, and metadata management practices.
Design, build, and maintain SQL-centric ETL/ELT pipelines.
Develop ingestion processes for batch, incremental, and near real-time data flows.
Leverage Python when beneficial for automation, workflow optimization, and API integrations.
Support BI initiatives by creating datasets optimized for Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Partner with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and business teams to translate requirements into robust data solutions.

? Mandatory requirements:
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or SQL-heavy backend development roles.
Expert-level SQL skills, including complex querying, performance tuning, and optimization.
Strong experience with enterprise data modeling methodologies such as Data Vault, Dimensional Model
