At China Three Gorges Europe we are looking for a Legal Counsel (M&A; Focus) to join our Legal & Compliance Department. In this role, you will be responsible of the following tasks:

- Management of M&A; transactions.
- Management of corporate counsel matters.
- Review contracts and ancillary documents related to the renewable energy sector, including EPC, O&M;, asset management, facility agreements, etc.
- Proactive prevention and management of problems or disputes, identifying areas of legal risk.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel in projects and other legal matters.
- Manage disputes and litigations globally together with relevant external legal counsel.
- Provide legal support for other departments within the company (finance, M&A;, H&R;, operation, development, etc.)
- Provide guidance in all daily corporate issues related to the department.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law,



or equivalent relevant discipline.
- 4+ years of M&A; and corporate counsel work experience in prestigious law firms, or as in-house counsel in international companies.
- English Advanced level (equivalent to C1-C2)
- Spanish Advanced level (equivalent C1-C2/Native)

Other Valuable Requirements:
- Desirable Master's or specialization in renewable energy or any other related field.
- Previous experience in M&A; transactions and corporate counsel work;
- Previous experience working within a company in the renewable sector or in the energy team of a legal firm;
- Intermediate to Advanced level of proficiency with Windows OS, MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Communication skills and relationship management, strategic thinking, ability to execute, problem-solving and attention to detail.
