Job Description
The role of the Commercial Product Marketing Portfolio Strategist is to strengthen intersection points between product launch functions within Business Personal Systems to steer and influence insight-led creation of value propositions, product marketing messaging,
and narrative positioning across the Commercial portfolio and product lifecycle.
They possess a unique mastery and are the subject matter expert on portfolio strategy, future innovation roadmaps, positioning frameworks, and strategic narratives, ensuring alignment across current and future offerings. Their focus is on creating clear line-of-sight across the portfolio—from category to product line to individual products—ensuring strategic fluidity, differentiation, and coherence moving from current to future innovations.
They act as the central portfolio strategist and connective lead across Business Insights, ELT, Strategy & Planning, Product GBU teams, BPS NPI, Category/4P Comms, and Commercial Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and operationalize portfolio frameworks, navigation storybooks, and playbooks
- Partner with research teams to frame messaging and positioning tests and translate insights
