Job Summary The Sales Application Specialist Biotechnology (SAS Biotech) is a mixed figure including both sales and technical responsibilities, being his/her main job tasks will be to actively promote and sell our products and solutions while keeping a good track on the technical status of the instrumentation park, reagent stocks and IT solutions. He/she will have special focus on the Central Lab and Clinical Areas such as Pathology, Hematology, Genetics Departments, Oncology Labs and Research Institutes, with proven knowledge and hands-on experience in molecular technologies, particularly Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and qPCR/Real-Time PCR, and with additional knowledge of Cytogenetics techniques, such as FISH, highly valuable.
The SAS Biotech will provide our customers with solutions that adapt to their changing needs, creating a relationship of trust that will bring value to our customers and the Company in the medium and long term.

Achieve sales and commercial targets established by the Company.
Provides application support.
Supports laboratory organization improvement by providing technical advice and tailored solutions, with particular focus on NGS and qPCR workflows.
Resolves commercial matters related to Cytogenetics with agility, proactively seeking solutions and progressively building autonomy in decision-making and customer follow-up.
Create a network of trust within the organization and organizes other colleagues in field visits.
Coordination skills to organize instrument installations interacting with the different departments involved (Logistics, Technical Service, Marketing...), Can keep the training level of our user’s instruments and reagents and manage appropriate documentation.
Has a general point of view that allows him/her to check the service level offered by the different departments of the Company assigned
