The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Global Engineering Manager within the G rid & P ower Q uality S olution s and S ervice (GPQSS) Global Product Group (GPG) team that will be responsible for delivering upon our commitments to our customer s and partners. In this role you will be responsible to ensure alignment with GPQSS global standards, processes, tools and governance, drive innovation, and foster collaboration among diverse engineering teams. Together with the Engineering team of the Global Product Group, you are responsible for driving consistency in executional excellence when it comes to health & safety, quality, on-time delivery and budget, in line with Hitachi Energy and G rid I ntegration business unit strategic direction and priorities.
In this role,



you will report to the Global Operations Manager for GPQSS.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- You will be responsible for the project engineering scope and own the performance management of the GPQSS engineering deliverables in close partnership and collaboration with our Hitachi Energy local counterparts and customers.
- You will be the Business Process Owner responsible for GPG GPQSS global engineering processes.
- You will m entor and develop engineering leaders and team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- You will build and maintain relationships with key customers as well as internal and external stakeholders.
- You will support and drive the BU's strategy globally within the GPQSS community.
