Join a globally distributed engineering team building open-source technologies that power modern cloud infrastructure. In this role, you’ll develop and maintain software for OpenStack and Ceph, helping bring scalable cloud platforms to diverse computing environments. You’ll work primarily with Python while tackling challenges across infrastructure automation, distributed systems, and software-defined data centers. Your contributions will support deployments ranging from individual machines to large-scale bare-metal environments. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers across countries and cultures, contributing to both code and technical decision-making. Accountabilities
Develop high-quality software and new features for OpenStack and Ceph deployment and management.




Collaborate proactively with a globally distributed engineering team to design effective technical solutions.
Debug complex technical issues, investigate root causes, and implement reliable fixes.
Review code from other engineers and contribute constructive feedback to maintain high engineering standards.
Help ensure OpenStack and Ceph operate successfully across multiple hardware architectures and computing environments.
Contribute to infrastructure automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions using Python and related technologies.
Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and collaborative problem-solving.
Work remotely while participating in international travel several times per year for internal and external events.
