One of the companies we partner with at Joppy is looking to hire an AI Engineer passionate about designing, building, and deploying intelligent automation systems to solve complex real-world challenges.

Responsibilities

1. Architect and deliver AI solutions, balancing latency, cost, and accuracy
2. Focus on efficiency, continuously seeking optimization opportunities in code and systems
3. Own AI observability end-to-end: monitor traces, design evaluation frameworks, and rapidly improve deployed models
4. Develop backend and frontend code to integrate AI capabilities into products
5. Lead your own project management and roll out initiatives to customers
6. Engage with customers to validate new solutions and gather feedback

Requirements

1. 2+ years of hands-on experience building production-ready AI systems
2. Strong understanding of emerging AI models, research, and real-world usage
3. Experience with modern AI-powered development tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar)
4. Demonstrated ability to design, debug,



and improve end-to-end systems with a product-focused mindset
5. Fluent in Spanish and comfortable working in English

Nice to have

1. Experience with AI observability platforms (e.g., langfuse: tracing, metrics, evaluations for LLM applications/agents)
2. Expertise in designing and running evaluations
3. Familiarity with multimodal LLMs, especially vision models for OCR document understanding
4. Experience building and orchestrating multi-agent systems
5. Knowledge of RAG systems and vector databases
6. Experience designing or working with MCPs

1. TypeScript, Python, langfuse, PostHog, Google Cloud Platform, mastra, Postgres, MongoDB, and various AI providers
