Overview and Summary:
Willing to put into practice all you know and work on an international project? Come and join us for a 6 month internship providing support on an electric vehicle charging points coverage analysis project for a large and relevant car manufacturer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be learning and involved in the following tasks:
- Compile and maintain GIS layers, folders and geodatabases
- Provide support on procedures and workflows to keep GIS layers updated, process data, and run analysis
- Automate GIS data functions
- Provide support on tools, scripts, and workflows development to automate and streamline data management and geoprocessing tasks
- Perform moderately complex geographic and geospatial programming and systems analysis work
- Integrate business databases
Qualifications - Education and Experience:
- ArcGIS Network Analyst module
- SQL - Transact-Sql preferred
- ESRI (ArcMap Desktop) mapping and spatial analysis tools and extensions
- Geocoding and street network
- Programming languageto to perform duties focused on large-scale GIS task. Python preferred (model builder can be considered)
- Easily adaptable to customer requirements
- Interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate in both verbal and written form.
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master´s degree completed in the last 3 years on in Geomatics, Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Computer Science, Math, Information Technology or similar fields.
