We are looking for a candidate that holds a PhD and strong hands-on experience to lead the development of next-generation microfluidic platforms for cell biology, biomedical analysis, cell sorting, and laboratory automation.
This position combines scientific and technical leadership, project-management capabilities, and practical experience in the fabrication, integration, and validation of microfluidic devices.
Key requirements:
- PhD in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Micro/Nanotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in microfluidics and lab-on-a-chip development.
- Experience with photolithography and fabrication of SU-8 master molds on silicon wafers.
- Experience fabricating and assembling microfluidic chips in rigid polymers, preferably cyclic olefin copolymer (COC).
- Experience integrating electrodes and/or sensors into microfluidic devices.
- Experience in the functional validation and characterization of microfluidic devices.
- Ability to lead R&D; activities, coordinate internal and external collaborators,
and contribute to the preparation of R&D; project proposals.
- Professional technical and scientific English skills.

- Cell biology and cell-based assays.
