Are you an experienced individual who enjoys coordinating complex processes, maintaining accurate records and ensuring important deadlines are met?
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to support our Protection Team. You will help coordinate compliance activities, support fire safety regulation, maintain critical risk information and contribute to the wider protection and risk reduction work carried out by Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
You will have excellent attention to detail, be confident working with data and compliance-related information,



and be able to use your own initiative to identify and resolve queries, solve problems, and manage competing priorities.
About the role
Our Protection Team helps keep people, businesses and communities safe through fire safety regulation, risk reduction activities and ensuring access to water supplies for firefighting.
Working closely with Fire Safety Regulators, the Water Officer, Managers and Operational Crews, you will coordinate a wide range of activities that support the Service's legal and regulatory responsibilities. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Schedule audits for higher risk premises using intelligence-led, risk-based approaches to reduce the risk to our business community in line with Service objectives.
- Gather and maintain accurate risk profiles by liaising daily with Fire Safety Regulators, Station Ma
