Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Outpatient Retail Pharmacy Tech Lead, you will work under the supervision of a Pharmacy Manager or other pharmacist, assisting Pharmacy Technicians with daily workload demands and department goals. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient outpatient pharmacy operations.

Every day, you will assist the Pharmacist in prioritizing medication orders and determining routine daily department needs. You will perform advanced medication order functions including interpretation, preparation, drug distribution, and quality assurance. As the Lead Technician, you will be responsible for all pharmacy technician activities and work schedules, providing direction and guidance to technicians on drug distribution and operational matters. You will actively review technician performance, provide educational opportunities, and ensure annual performance assessments and skill competency
