As Director of Software Engineering, you’ll lead the design, development, and operation of Gartner’s attendee-facing mobile and web platforms. You’ll align technical efforts with business goals and steer autonomous delivery teams across high-visibility conferences. You’ll build talent, foster accountability, and drive continuous innovation, with a focus on reliability and user-centric experiences for executive audiences.

This role sits at the intersection of technology and business impact, shaping scalable digital event platforms.

Compensaciones / Incentivos

- Lead end-to-end delivery for attendee-facing mobile and web platforms, including architecture, roadmap prioritization, and QA
- Ensure timely, high-quality releases aligned with conference calendars and business goals
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate capabilities (scalability, personalization, analytics, mobile-first design) into business outcomes
- Set and track measurable success metrics for platform performance, user satisfaction,



and operational excellence
- Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (AI, analytics, personalization engines, modern frameworks) to enhance customer journeys

Responsabilidades

- 12+ years in software engineering
- 4–5 years in engineering leadership
- 3+ years leading teams of 15+ engineers or large-scale delivery
- Proven experience with high-scale external-facing mobile and web platforms
- Strong experience designing digital products using .NET (preferred) / Python / Java
- Deploying on cloud xugodme providers such as AWS (preferred) / Azure
- Experience delivering products on fixed timelines with cross-functional dependencies
- Deep knowledge of scalable system architecture and modern development practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel up to 30 days per year
