Sail graphics are currently quoted through a tool embedded in an ageing application. You will rebuild it in React and C# as a module within our new manufacturing platform, covering orders, quoting, and invoicing.
The platform already handles authentication, so you inherit a working sign-in and start on the parts that matter.
- Design and stand up a database schema within our existing database.
- Implement role-based access control on top of the platform’s existing SSO.
- Populate order data through API calls to existing systems.
- Implement the pricing formulae and an admin interface to maintain them.
- Generate PDF quotes and track them through the approval process.
If the core lands early, you will extend it to generate PDF work tickets carrying manufacturing instructions to the shop floor.
The user base is small and accessible. You will sit with the people who use the tool, gather the requirements yourself, and see your work go live rather than into a sandbox.
Some exposure to React, C#, and cloud platforms is useful, but attitude matters more than experience. We want someone who will ask questions, chase down requirements, and take ownership of a piece of work end to end.
You should be comfortable using AI coding tools, and equally comfortable explaining and defending what they produce. We use them daily. We also expect people to understand the code they ship.
